Wolf Creek Retrievers is a family atmosphere where your retriever will flourish. My name is Orie Mathews and my wife’s name is Teri Mathews and we have been married since September 2002. In August 2008, we were blessed with a little girl to our family. Kamdyn Orie Mathews is already turning into quite a little helper and trainer.

I have been around hunting and dogs most of my life except for the 6 years that I proudly served in the USMC. During my enlistment period, due to being in several locations and lacking both time and space, I went without a dog for the first time in my life.

In February 2000, that all changed when I brought home a 6 week old yellow female named Princess. She is the retriever in the photo and she has been both a joy and a challenge to train.

The more training we accomplished together, I could see the future of what would become Wolf Creek Retrievers.
